According to TMZ, this graphic, and very sad, photograph of a bruised Rihanna was taken after Chris Brown assaulted the “Umbrella” singer before the Grammy’s a few weeks ago.
Following the photograph’s release, the Los Angeles Police Department issued a statement saying they were outraged and disappointed by an unknown member of their staff leaking the photo to the media.
